Gabriel Garcia

Despite being selected in the 14th round in 2016, Garcia has already earned a spot on top prospect lists thanks to two impressive seasons as a pro -- both completed before he turned the age of 19. Garcia possesses the typical penchant of power hitters to strike out, but he has shown a keen eye at the plate at least, owning a career .411 OBP over 101 games. His .300 career batting average is bloated due to some unsustainable BABIP numbers, but he has not fully tapped into his power potential either. Garcia has proven he can get on base. If he is able to do the same in the average and power departments, he's going to find himself moving closer to the top of prospect lists. He is going to have to keep proving himself as he moves up the ranks, though, and the Brewers figure to be patient with his development.
