Rui Machida

Machida is a wild card in the rotation after putting on a show in the Olympics. Over the six games, Machida averaged 7.2 points, 12.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds, compiling a combined 17 assists in the two games against Team USA. Machida's showing landed her a contract with Washington and could position her as the backup point guard behind Natasha Cloud entering 2022. However, standing just 5-foot-4, Machida may have difficulty scoring around the rim. She also shot just 25.0 percent from deep during the Olympics, so she may primarily contribute as a distributor.
