Wilson posted career-high averages in points (22.8), rebounds (9.5) and blocks (2.2) last season despite playing just 30.7 minutes per game. The Aces had little trouble asserting their dominance over the league in 2023, so the team was able to manage Wilson’s workload for the stretch run. The 27-year-old fell short of the MVP award but remained one of the top fantasy options. She shot a career-best 55.7 percent from the floor and has appeared in every game across the past three seasons. Across that span, she’s averaged 20.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.2 steals in 30.9 minutes per game. Wilson has been one of the most elite options in the league throughout her career, and that shouldn’t change in 2024. Wilson and coach Becky Hammon also felt that the center was snubbed in MVP voting in 2023, so Wilson may remain on the court slightly more to boost her stats for end-of-season awards. Wilson closed Sunday's 76-62 loss to New York in Game 4 of the semifinals with 19 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 10 rebounds, five blocks, one assist and one steal across 37 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Wilson ended her MVP season with a stellar outing while stuffing the stat sheet in the loss. Wilson logged her third double-double of the playoffs and racked up five blocks for the second time in six playoff appearances in 2024. The superstar won her third MVP award this season, during which she averaged a record-high 26.9 points to go along with a career-high 11.9 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals across 34.4 minutes in 38 regular-season outings. While the 28-year-old's numbers took a dip in the playoffs, she still averaged an impressive 21.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.5 blocks across 36.3 minutes in six appearances. Wilson and two more of the Aces' core-four players in Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray are all entering the final year of their contracts, and Kelsey Plum is slated to enter unrestricted free agency.

Coming off a 2022 MVP and championship season, Wilson enters 2023 heading one of the league's two "superteams" alongside the Liberty. Wilson compiled 19.5 points, 9.4 boards, 2.1 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.4 steals per game a season ago, making her arguably the most diverse fantasy contributor in the league. She should maintain a healthy fantasy stat line again in 2023 as one of the league's premier players, but the Aces' offseason additions of Candace Parker and Alysha Clark figure to complicate usage just a bit. Even if Wilson experiences a slight dip on that front, she and Breanna Stewart are still in a league of their own in terms of nightly fantasy value. Wilson likely tops the charts in fantasy for rotisserie leagues and is neck-and-neck with Stewart in points leagues.
Wilson followed up her 2020 MVP campaign by averaging 18.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 31.9 minutes per game in 2021. Although her scoring numbers were slightly down, she posted career-high marks in rebounds and assists thanks to a high-water mark in playing time. Wilson re-signed with the Aces in early February and will get to work under new coach Becky Hammon in 2022. Although the 25-year-old shot a career-low 44.4 percent from the floor last year, she's dominated her first four WNBA seasons and remains a threat to post a double-double every time she steps onto the court.
