The Skinny

While a number of WNBA teams are impacted by the departures of players of the 2019 EuroBasket tournament, neither Seattle nor Indiana falls into that category. However, the two clubs have not escaped some early-season injuries. The Storm will likely be without Shavonte Zellous for a third straight game in addition to missing both Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart. Indiana will be without key bench player Shenise Johnson for a fourth straight contest. This game features the lowest expected score on the slate, leaving fairly low expectations for the players from a fantasy standpoint.

After a slow start to the season, Jewell Loyd has posted her two best scoring efforts of the season in the last two contests, notching 19 and a season-high 20 versus the Sky.While a slowed pace may diminish her fantasy value, Loyd should log more than 30 minutes again Tuesday and sports enough volume to produce. Kennedy Burke is coming off the most notable performance among the Fever, racking up a career-best 18 points over 23 minutes. The outing could afford the rookie more playing time Tuesday.

The Skinny

The Mystics have been hit by the EuroBasket tournament, temporarily losing the services of big Emma Meesseman and guard guard Kim Mestdagh. Meesseman's departure opened the door for Latoya Sanders to see more playing time, though she finished with just two points over 22 minutes versus the Wings. She should still serve as a primary rim protector and rebounder while Meesseman is gone and provides a considerable amount of value on FanDuel for Tuesday's contest. The Mystics lead the league in terms of offensive rating (114.6), but it wouldn't be surprising to see a step back versus a Connecticut squad that tops the charts on the defensive end of the floor (90).

The Sun continue to run out the same starting five, and, with no injuries, there's not a ton of variability in the lineup. Assuming the contest stays close, the majority of the team's starters should see 30-plus minutes in the contest. Jonquel Jones has been a double-double machine this season, though Alyssa Thomas has notched two straight and comes in as a cheaper option that could provide the bonus on DraftKings. The Mystics have struggled to clean up missed shots on the defensive end of the floor, so there may be a number of putback opportunities.

The Skinny

Chicago lost Katie Lou Samuleson indefinitely to a hand injury during Sunday's game against the Storm. While she hadn't played a ton of minutes recently, Samuelson's absence leaves the Sky down multiple guards in the backcourt. Kahleah Copper may directly benefit in terms of minutes, seeing a bump from 12 to 18 on Sunday. Copper could near 20 minutes of action Tuesday, which could make her a worthwhile lineup filler on both sites.

While the Mercury haven't played particularly fast in early going, they are coming off of a 94-87 victory over the Fever on Sunday. Brittney Griner and DeWanna Bonner continue to be the key pieces for Phoenix. Bonner, in particular, has been a dominant scoring force, racking up 25 or more points in three of the first four games. Leilani Mitchell has been a pleasant surprise in her first two games after re-signing with the Mercury, averaging 25 minutes between the two contests. She remains an extremely cheap option on both sites and should be worth a back end fill.
