The St. Louis Battlehawks selected Schrader 13th overall in the second round of the 2024 UFL draft, according to
their X account.
ANALYSIS
Schrader, currently signed with the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, has a route back home should they choose not to keep him. He made his mark with Missouri's football program, especially during its 2023 season. It included him logging 276 carries for 1,627 yards (5.9 averaged per carry) and 14 touchdowns across his 13 games. While likely unable to match the load he got during 2023, Schrader consistently proved himself at the FBS level despite his relatively short time (two years) there, something that seems more assuring than not for a UFL team like St. Louis.
