Will retire from tennis in November

Nadal announced on Thursday that he will retire from professional tennis after the Davis Cup Finals, which will be held Nov. 19-24.

Nadal, who has been bothered by injuries for much of the last two years, is set to end his career at 38 years old. The Spaniard is 12-7 so far in 2024, but he last won a title in 2022 in which he claimed both the Australian Open and Roland Garros. Nadal will finish his career with 92 titles and 22 Grand Slam titles, second only to Novak Djokovic. The Spanish star's record of 14 French Open titles may not ever be broken.
