Werner suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday's 3-0 win over Tamworth and will miss Wednesday's match against Arsenal., according to manager Ange Postecoglou. "The only one who picked up an injury was Timo. He picked up a hamstring injury. We're just waiting on the results of the scan."
ANALYSIS
Werner looks to be unavailable moving forward, as the attacker will be out for the time being due to a hamstring injury. That said, he will likely miss Wednesday's North London Derby, unlikely to be an option for the remainder of the week. He has started in their past two outings so this will likely force a change, with Son Heung-Min probably seeing the start again while he is out.

January 2, 2025
Tottenham aren't expected to keep Werner past this season, according to Bild.
ANALYSIS
Werner has struggled badly at Tottenham this season, and the former Germany international hasn't been able to make an impact even with a rash of injuries affecting the club's depth and a packed schedule. Werner isn't likely to be signed into a permanent deal, meaning he's expected to return to RB Leipzig in the summer.
