Clucas (calf) returned to training Wednesday and could feature in Sunday's match with Manchester City. "Sam trained today," manager Carlos Carvahal said. "He had a test with the physios which was positive and if he trains well tomorrow, he can be involved at Manchester City."

Clucas was held out of Saturday's match against Everton because of the knee injury he suffered in training earlier in the week, but he could return next Sunday against Manchester City.

Clucas is being monitored with an injury after taking a kick to the knee in training. "Clucas got a kick and didn't train today," manager Carlos Carvahal said. "He didn't train as a precaution and we must wait to see, but we expect he can recover."

Clucas (knee) put in five crosses, made three key passes, and had one assist in Saturday's 1-1 draw with West Brom.

Clucas (knee) will be fit for Saturday's match with West Bromwich Albion. "Clucas is ready - he is 100 per cent," manager Carlos Carvalhal said. "Our medical department have done good work with us and he has made a good recovery. I was concerned about it because his knee was very painful. But when we came back into training he was much better and then the scan showed nothing special. We are pleased because he is an important player for us. He is half-midfielder, half-attacker and half-defender - so he is one guy and a half!"
