Mulumbu (foot) is back in full training but will not be rushed back to play in Sunday's match against Newcastle. "“We’ll have to monitor Youssouf. It’s important that he can potentially get an Under-21s game under his belt before we reintroduce him to first-team action, but he’s trained for three or four days," manager Alex Neil said.

Mulumbu continues to recover from his foot injury, but he is still a ways from training.

Mulumbu is expected to be out of action for several weeks after fracturing a metatarsal last weekend against Brentford, reports the Daily Mail.

West Brom will not exercise the one-year option on Mulumbu's contract, making him a free agent.

Mulumbu came on in the second half for Craig Gardner but lasted just 12 minutes before picked up a straight red card for fighting with QPR's Joey Barton.
