FORWARDS

Harry Kane, TOT v. BOU ($13,500): Kane has the best odds to score on the slate and Boxing Day has the feeling of another huge match from Spurs. Coming off an eight-goal thriller, they are in a prime spot to find the back of the net multiple times considering Bournemouth have struggled against top competition, allowing seven goals in their last two against Man City and Liverpool. It hasn't been easy, but Kane has made the score sheet in his last five starts in all competitions. Gabriel Jesus ($12,500) and Sergio Aguero ($12,500) have higher chances to dud, while Roberto Firmino ($12,000) has no floor.

Marcus Rashford, MUN v. HUD ($11,000): Rashford is only possible as a top forward unless you want to punt at midfield. His price is a bit high, but after United's recent romp, there's no telling how they'll perform at home against Huddersfield. Rashford has hit double-digit fantasy points in his last five starts and has been easier to trust than the more expensive Anthony Martial ($11,000). Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($12,000) has a great matchup and could also go off, but I can't fully support the Gunners on the road.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, EVE at BRN ($7,500): If you want a cheap second forward, Calvert-Lewin makes the most sense, having started up front for Everton in the last two, making the score sheet in both games. He barely has a floor since he doesn't touch the ball much, but he has potential with four shots and two chances created in two difficult situations (at Man City, v. Spurs). You could spend up on a mid-range forward, but none of them have great matchups unless you think Wilfried Zaha ($8,500) will finally grab a goal. Lucas Moura ($9,500) would be intriguing if in the starting XI, but that's also a perfect trap.

MIDFIELDERS

Mohamed Salah, LIV v. NEW ($11,500): Just behind Kane in terms of goal scoring is Salah, but it won't be easy getting the two of them in your lineup. Similar to Kane, Salah is in excellent form with five goals and an assist in his last four starts in all competitions. None of those matchups have been extremely favorable, but he's produced 15 shots and created 12 chances. His floor and upside are most enticing, while the same can't be said for Raheem Sterling ($11,000) or Leroy Sane ($10,000) in a sneaky difficult match at Leicester. Sure, both could go off, but neither have topped 23 fantasy points in the last three matches.

Son Heung-Min, TOT v. BOU ($9,000): You could reasonably stack up on mid-range midfielders if you pass on Salah, as Son, Sadio Mane ($9,500), Kevin De Bruyne ($9,500), Gylfi Sigurdsson ($9,000) and Paul Pogba ($9,000) all present as decent opportunities. Son maybe has the most upside, with four goals and two assists in his last three league starts, surpassing 32 fantasy points in each. If you don't go with Kane, Son is good place to turn so you can still benefit from a possible three-plus-goal performance from Spurs.

Andros Townsend, CRY v. CAR ($7,500): Townsend may be the best value on the slate after putting up two goals and two assists in his last five starts, hitting 15 fantasy points four times in that span. It doesn't get any better than a home matchup against Cardiff, who have given up eight goals in the last two matches and the second-most goals in the league (38) this season. There's no one else in this range with close to the same upside or floor since most of the options are defensive midfielders like Victor Camarasa and Wilfred Ndidi. Erik Lamela ($8,000) is another route, but he also has high bust potential, while Townsend often plays as a forward and is a good bet to play close to 90 minutes.

DEFENDERS

Phil Jones, MUN v. HUD ($4,500): Jones had 18 fantasy points in the win against Cardiff, and that still came after allowing a late goal. The better news is that Huddersfield force the most clearances in the league, and that hasn't slowed down with 205 forced in the last five matches, 38 more than the next team on the list, Manchester City. Jones could have seven-plus clearances as well as get a clean sheet, something most defenders can't say in this range. Wes Morgan ($4,500) should see a lot of work against Man City, but the clean sheet potential isn't there. There's little reason to spend up with so many high-end attacking players in good situations. If you must, Kieran Trippier ($6,000) has the upside and Fabian Schar ($7,000) has had the best floor in recent weeks.

Javier Manquillo, NEW at LIV ($4,000): The downside to Manquillo was seen last match when he had zero clearances against Fulham after 16 in his prior two starts. He should be a little busier against Liverpool, who are fifth in forcing tackles and clearances, and have forced the most interceptions (86) over the last five gameweeks. As long as Manquillo starts, that potential is hard to pass for the price.

Greg Cunningham, CAR at CRY ($4,000): Similar to Manquillo, Cunningham doesn't have a high floor, but he's been active with 14 fantasy points in each of his last two starts, with most of his fantasy value coming from tackles (15 this season), interceptions (12), clearances (10) and created chances (four). Everton aren't the best offensive team, but similar to Liverpool they force a lot of defensive work, including the fourth-most tackles and clearances in the last five matches.

GOALKEEPER

Vicente Guaita, CRY v. CAR ($4,500): Whether it's Guaita or Wayne Hennessey in net for Palace, it doesn't matter because they have similar odds to Tottenham and Man City for getting a clean sheet and don't cost anything. That's because Cardiff have been wretched on the road, with one point and five goals from eight matches. Bernd Leno ($4,500) may be the only other goalkeeper to consider in this range, but again, it's hard to trust Arsenal on the road. If you have the money for some reason, David de Gea ($5,500) isn't overly expensive.
