Despite both sides having plenty of motivation to defeat their rivals, there's a lot at stake if we take a quick look at the standings. Dortmund sit in second place with 51 points, and a win could put them closer to Bayern Munich – Die Roten sit at the top of the table with 55. Meanwhile, Schalke have 37 points, and even though they are quite far from the title race, a win could solidify their position towards clinching a 2020-21 UEFA Europa League berth.
