Dream11 Fantasy Soccer: Chelsea v. Wolverhampton Preview

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy Soccer series.

Game Preview

Chelsea and Wolverhampton have a lot at stake in the 2019-20 English Premier League season finale. The Blues have the advantage of playing at home, but they're coming off an ugly 5-3 loss against Liverpool that saw them fall to fourth place in the standings. They still control their own destiny, however, and they'd clinch a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League with a win. As for Wolverhampton, they need to win to secure sixth place and avoid Tottenham Hotspur to leapfrog them – any other result will have them waiting to see what happens between Spurs and Crystal Palace. Given how tight the standings are and what's at stake for both clubs, this could be a thrilling matchup at Stamford Bridge.

Top Picks

Raul Jimenez, Wolverhampton: The Wolves will be in dire need of a win, so Jimenez should get quite a few chances against a Chelsea defense that has allowed 10 goals in their last four games. The Mexican is Wolverhampton's leading scorer with 17, but he does more than that, as he's also added six assists.

Willian, Chelsea: The Brazilian still doesn't know where he will be playing next season, but he is attracting heavy interest with his recent performances. He has racked up nine goals and seven assists this season, but his play has reached a new level over the last few weeks. The Brazil international has four goals, two assists, 19 shots (12 on target), 25 chances created and 329 passes in his last eight appearances.
