MATCHES (EDT)
2:45 p.m: Bayern Munich v. Sevilla
2:45 p.m: Real Madrid v. Juventus
FORWARDS
Cristiano Ronaldo, RMD v. JUV ($11,700): Ronaldo turned in a highlight-reel performance in the first leg at Juventus, coming away with 36.8 fantasy points through two goals and an assist. He's an elite play any time he's on the field, and even with a 3-0 lead I expect him to press for goals, as Ronaldo would love nothing more than to pad his all-time Champions League goal scoring record.
Robert Lewandowski, BAY v. SEV ($10,700): Lewandowski was a big letdown with just four points in the first leg, but after being rested over the weekend he should be raring to go Wednesday. Bayern have a slim 2-1 lead, so while a draw sees them through to the semifinals, they'll want to increase their lead to ensure nothing fluky happens.
Franck Ribery, BAY v. SEV ($6,100): Ribery has had an up-and-down season, but he had a strong showing in the first leg, contributing an assist on the game-winner and topping 11 fantasy points. He took half of Bayern's corners in that game, and his role on set pieces combined with a reasonable salary has Ribery in the conversation.
MIDFIELDERS
Thomas Muller, BAY v. SEV ($9,200): Muller scored just 3.8 points in the first leg, but similar to Lewandowski he comes into this one fresh and could be the one to put the nail in the coffin as Bayern look to punch their ticket to the semifinals. While Lewy is the headliner in the Bayern attack, let's not forget that Muller exploded for 40 points in his last Champions League home game.
Ever Banega, SEV at BAY ($5,600): Banega missed out on the first leg through suspension, and Pablo Sarabia ($5,000) did a fine job deputizing for him with a goal and 25 points to keep Sevilla within striking distance. Banega is back for the second leg and will likely resume his role as the primary set piece taker. An away fixture at Bayern is a tough ask for Sevilla to get a result, but as we saw Tuesday, anything can happen in Champions League and Banega will have no choice but to drive the attack and send balls into the box in a last ditch effort to come away with a result.
Miralem Pjanic, JUV at RMD ($5,000): Pjanic returns from suspension, and the script has been flipped with Paulo Dybala suspended for the second leg. That means Pjanic will likely stand over the majority of set pieces, and while I don't expect that to make a huge difference, he could be the cheapest set piece taker on the slate.
DEFENDERS
Joshua Kimmich, BAY v. SEV ($7,100): Kimmich delivered eight crosses in the first leg win over Sevilla, and while he didn't do much more than that, he showed that he has the ability to flirt with double-digit points through crosses alone.
Marcelo, RMD v. JUV ($6,100):Marcelo scored a goal en route to 19.3 fantasy points in Real Madrid's masterclass win in Italy. Nursing a 3-0 lead, there's little reason for Marcelo to bomb forward like he usually does, but on a short slate he's still easily one of the best defender options and Real Madrid aren't the type of team to simply sit back and defend.
Sergio Escudero, SEV at BAY ($4,400): Escudero produced an assist and topped double digits in the first leg, and with Sevilla pressing for goals there's a good chance he's involved once again.
GOALKEEPER
Sven Ulreich, BAY v. SEV ($5,900): A draw is all Ulreich and Bayern need to punch their ticket to the semis, but given their dominance at home I think they leave no room for error and get the full three points. Ten points for a win and clean sheet is a real possibility for paying the premium at goalkeeper on this slate.
