ODDS REPORT

PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

Gianluigi Buffon, JUV vs. ZAG ($6,000): This is as close as it gets to buying a clean sheet and win as you can get. There's not going to be a lot of save upside, but a confident 10 points at the keeper spots isn't to be underestimated.

Arkadiusz Malarz, LEG vs. SPO ($4,100): Despite his side's struggles throughout the group stage, Malarz has managed a positive point total each time out while recording 26 saves in four matches. Sporting are the deserved favorites, but considering their own struggles and traveling to Warsaw could swing things in favor of the home keeper.

DEFENDER

Miguel Layun, POR vs. LEI ($6,000): In a bit of counter-intuitiveness, Layun and Porto are massively favored over Leicester, who've already clinched their spot in the knockout stages. The Mexican international is among the more prevalent crossers out there, and he has even found a little form in the goal-scoring department of late. Labeling him as a defender is a bit deceiving given his heavy usage in the Porto attack.

Ludwig Augustinsson, COP at BRU ($5,500): In the initial match against Brugge, Augustinsson tallied 16 crosses, two assists and two shots on goal. Having tallied double-digit crosses in four consecutive UCL matches, Augustinsson conveys a lot of offense from a defensive position. It's often a tough pill to swallow paying up at the defensive spots, but Augustinsson and Layun are two anomalies and great values at these prices compared to midfielders and attackers in a similar range.

Kieran Trippier, TOT vs. CSK ($4,400): Having started three UCL games so far this season, Trippier is a strong contender to do so once again. In the away leg in Moscow, Trippier returned a modest four crosses and eight fantasy points, a total likely to increase in the friendly home confines.

MIDFIELDER

Christian Eriksen, TOT vs. CSK ($7,800): While the 44 fantasy points he had this past weekend is a far cry from a reasonable expectation, it's clear Eriksen has found his very best form with three goals, an assist, 11 shots (six on goal) and 21 crosses in his last two games in the Premier League. Tottenham will not be advancing to the knockout stages, but they still need a positive result to make sure they don't miss out on the Europa League.

Miralem Pjanic, JUV vs. ZAG ($7,400): Juve are the biggest favorites of the day, so you'll want exposure. The most consistent source is Pjanic, with his duties over corners and free kicks. Despite some lackadaisical UCL outings, his two most recent games in Italy (one goal, two assists, 48 total fantasy points) give confidence he'll be able to preform Wednesday.

Boschilia, MCO at LEV ($5,100): With a number of Monaco players being rested potentially, Boschilia stands to come into the squad in a high upside spot, as he'd pick up corners and free kicks. The youngster has racked up four goals in just three starts (nine total appearances) in domestic play.

FORWARD

Cristiano Ronaldo, RMD vs. BVB ($10,700): After a rare occasion without a goal last time out in El Clasico, expect Ronaldo to rebound. Though a top team due to their attack, Dortmund's defense has been riddled by goals this season, and Ronaldo is the only player on the day with legitimate hat-trick+ upside.

Mario Mandzukic, JUV vs. ZAG ($7,700): Despite Gonzalo Higuain possessing the superior name recognition, it has been Mandzukic producing of late, contributing to four goals (three goals, one assist) in his last four games across all competitions.

Bryan Ruiz, SPO at LEG ($5,800): A tough group draw with both Real Madrid and Dortmund, Lisbon have had their struggles, but Ruiz should bring some confidence Wednesday after scoring in the reverse fixture against Warsaw.
