David De Gea, MU v. CRY ($4,400): United's ability at Old Trafford cannot be overstated: they own the best home record, from a points-gained-per-match-played perspective, and have won five straight at the hallowed grounds. De Gea has allowed just one home goal in his last four appearances while Crystal Palace is winless away from home over their last six.
DEFENDER
Timothy Fosu-Mensah, MU v. CRY ($2,900): An FA Cup semifinal this upcoming weekend will likely result in some second teamers getting uncommon first team action. Fosu-Mensah is a promising product of United's always top class development system, and he picked up his first Premier League assist in a 45-minute showing against Everton earlier this month. He followed that showing up with 11 fantasy points in 68 minutes while starting against Tottenham. Fosu-Mensah made a short showing in this past weekend's match which could be hinting at him getting the start in this spot.
Callum Connolly, EVE at LIV ($2,000): With a litany of injury doubts and bigger fish to fry in the FA Cup semifinal (which now stands as their only chance at a bid to Europe), Connolly appears to be in line for his first Premier League start. He played a relatively quiet 36 minutes against Southampton at the weekend, sending in two crosses. You don't need much for Connolly to pay off his price, and he opens up cap space for some of the exciting up-field players below.
MIDFIELDER
Dimitri Payet, WHU v. WAT ($8,700): His price has risen to great heights, but this is a matchup I can't recommend fading the multi-talented Frenchman. As mentioned before last weekend with James McClean, Watford (though solid defensively) allows a great number of crosses. McClean (between corners and open-play crosses) picked up 19 at the weekend, and Payet is a much better player.
Philippe Coutinho, LIV v. EVE ($6,100): Coutinho has scored at least 22 fantasy points in four consecutive games in all competitions, finding the back of the net in each one. That run of matches included traveling to play Manchester United and Southampton while hosting Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund. He's also $800 less than teammate James Milner.
Alex Iwobi, ARS v. WBA ($4,100): Iwobi provides access to the Arsenal attack without paying the often inflated prices for their regulars, and Arsenal has the highest projected goal total, according to the bookmakers. Prior to a sub-par performance against Crystal Palace, Iwobi had fantasy point totals of 15-18-17 against Everton, Watford and West Ham, respectively, with either a goal or assist in each.
FORWARD
Memphis Depay, MU v. CRY ($5,500): Memphis had a productive 13-fantasy point outing against Aston Villa, filling up the offensive categories outside of goals and assists. The peripherally gifted Dutchman gives a floor rarely found with a forward, and thus becomes a strong cash game consideration when given the start.
Andy Carroll, WHU v. WAT ($4,600): At this point, it looks as if you need some shares of Carroll after he scored yet another goal as a sub against Leicester on the weekend. That makes it five goals in his last 195 minutes, including a wonderful 10-shot hat trick against Arsenal.
Daniel Sturridge, LIV v. EVE ($5,500): Sturridge is finally garnering the consistency he has long left us wanting, as he is now starting, playing 90 minutes and scoring in his last two Premier League matches. He has scored in three of his last four games and picked up an assist in the other. Liverpool is rounding out their season in superb form with a real chance at winning the Europa League after completing a seemingly impossible comeback against Dortmund. Meanwhile, Everton is now in the bottom half of the league after going winless in their last six Premier League matches.
