Allen finished 15th in the Built Ford Tough 225 Craftsman Truck Series race at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday night.

Randy Moss, NFL All Pro wide receiver with the New England Patriots, will make his debut as a NASCAR team owner on July 19 in the Built Ford Tough 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Allen will drive the No. 81 Chevy Silverado for the newly-formed Randy Moss Motorsports, randymossmotorsports.com reports.

Allen has signed to drive the season-opener Camping World 300 for the new Sadler Hamilton Racing team, the Nashville Tennessean reports.

Allen has spent the past month looking for a new NASCAR ride for the start of the coming season. It was the last thing the Hickman County resident expected during the racing offseason after his 2007 campaign, Nashville Tennessean reports.

Allen can happily reflect on his 2007 rookie of the year season. Unfortunately, that's more pleasant right now than thinking about what the future may hold. Preseason testing for the Craftsman Truck Series begins Jan. 11, but at the moment Allen isn't sure if he'll be there with a job, ESPN.com reports.
