2023 Fantasy Outlook
De Vries will make his full-time debut in Formula One this season with Alpha Tauri after making his race debut with Williams last season. He is graduating to this role under the Red Bull umbrella from Mercedes after serving as a reserve driver and winning a Formula E series championship with the manufacturer. In his debut last season, De Vries replaced Alex Albon in the Williams at the last minute at Monza, finishing in the top 10 and beating teammate Nicholas Latifi. The seat he landed for 2023 alongside Yuki Tsunoda is one of the best from which to build his career in the series, too. Red Bull Racing has consistently promoted talent from Alpha Tauri to the main squad, which is a proven championship-winning outfit. The biggest challenge for De Vries this season may just be not withering under those expectations. He is an exciting talent with plenty of experience in various formulas as well as sportscars.
