Falls quickly in his Bellator debut in Uniondale
Johnson lost to Cheick Kongo via KO (punches) at 1:08 of Round 1 at Bellator 208 on Saturday in Uniondale, N.Y.
ANALYSIS
After going 4-3 in the UFC, Johnson actually left the promotion on a win. He appeared to be coming into Bellator with some positive momentum. However, that came to an end early in the first round against Kongo. The fellow UFC veteran landed a hard right hand and followed up on the ground for the knockout. There certainly are fights Johnson can win in the Bellator heavyweight division, but things did not get off to a good start here.

Controls the clinch against Marcelo Golm
Johnson defeated Marcelo Golm via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Belem, Brazil
ANALYSIS
There really was not much to this fight. Johnson was able to close the distance and control the fight in the clinch. Golm had a few moments with his leg kicks, but he could not keep Johnson from pressing him into the cage. At heavyweight, the ability to control the clinch is extremely valuable, and Johnson has that ability at this level. Johnson improved to 12-4 as a professional and 4-3 in the UFC.

Finds opponent in Marcelo Golm
Johnson will take on Marcelo Golm at UFC Belem in Brazil on Feb. 3, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Johnson was initially slated to compete against Luis Henrique, but the latter was forced to withdraw due to a biceps injury that required surgery. Instead of potentially moving his fight to a different card, the promotion was able to provide Johnson with a replacement in Golm, who will be making his second appearance in the Octagon after defeating Christian Colombo via submission in his October debut.

Will not fight Luis Henrique
Johnson will need a new opponent for his fight in Belem, Brazil on Feb. 3 due to Luis Henrique's biceps injury, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Henrique will undergo surgery on his injury in the coming weeks, which obviously takes him out of the running to face off against Johnson. Currently, the promotion is looking into finding Johnson another opponent for the Belem card, but may be forced to move his fight altogether if nothing materializes. There should be more known on the situation within the next couple weeks.

Gets match with Henrique in UFC Belem
The UFC announced Sunday that Johnson (11-4) would fight Luis Henrique (10-4) in Belem, Brazil on Feb. 3, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 32-year-old Johnson lost his last match to Junior Albini in July, bowing out in the first round of the bout. The heavyweight hasn't sustained much long-term success since joining the promotion in 2015, but a match against Henrique, who has taken losses in his last two fights, could help him get back on the right track.
