No-shows UFC 310 defeat
FeatherweightUFC
December 7, 2024
Landwehr lost to Doo Ho Choi via TKO (strikes) at 3:21 of Round 3 at UFC 310 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Somehow entering as a -130 favorite, it was a no-show of epic proportions from "Nate the Train." Landwehr is at his best in a wild brawl, but he was unable to generate any offense because Choi was in firm control the entire way. Nate got beaten up on the feet in the early going and dominated on the mat late. Losing is one thing, but the complete lack of competitiveness is another. Nate is by no means a title contender, so he needs to put on highly entertaining bouts in order to have value to the company. This was not that. Landwehr has alternated wins and losses in his last four fights dating back to March 2023.

Fighting Choi in December
FeatherweightUFC
November 3, 2024
Landwehr will take on Doo Ho Choi at UFC 310 in Las Vegas on December 7, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Landwehr will face the younger Choi at UFC 310 after being removed from the UFC 307 card for unspecified reasons. The 36-year-old American will head into the fight coming off a first round knockout victory over Jamall Emmers in his most recent UFC appearance in March, bringing his UFC record to a respectable 5-3. Landwehr will hope to use his knockout power to take out Choi, though he will have to be weary of Choi's considerable power as well, as 12 of the Korean's 15 professional victories have come via KO/TKO.
Won't fight Hubbard at UFC 307
FeatherweightUFC
September 15, 2024
Landwehr is out for the lightweight bout versus Austin Hubbard at UFC 307 on Oct. 5 due to undisclosed reasons, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Hubbard announced via social media that he will still fight at UFC 307, but Landwehr is out as his opponent. The 36-year-old holds a record of 18-5-0, and he won his last fight against Jamall Emmers on March 30 via KO in Round 1 (punch).
Slated to face Hubbard
FeatherweightUFC
September 14, 2024
Landwehr will fight Austin Hubbard in a lightweight bout at UFC 307 on Oct. 5, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Landwehr has spent most of his career fighting in the featherweight division, but he'll jump to lightweight to take on Hubbard. Landwehr has been putting up good performances of late and has won four of his last five fights.
Gets right back in win column
FeatherweightUFC
March 31, 2024
Landwehr defeated Jamall Emmers via KO (punches) at 4:43 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Atlantic City.
ANALYSIS
No one will dispute the fact Emmers has far more physical talent than Landwehr, but Nate "has that dog in him," as the kids like to say. You aren't going to beat Landwehr in the grit and determination department, which was the route Emmers chose to go. Nate manage to survive a barrage of heavy blows before returning fire on his opponent and eventually earning the stoppage win (which also resulted in a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus). It's rarely pretty, but Landwehr has now four of five dating back to October 2021, and his lone defeat in that stretch came against a credible opponent in Dan Ige.
Finds new opponent
FeatherweightUFC
March 8, 2024
Landwehr will fight Jamall Emmers at UFC Atlantic City on March 30, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Landwehr was originally scheduled to face Pat Sabatini on March 30, but the latter withdrew from the event due to undisclosed reasons. Still, the UFC was interested in finding a new opponent for "The Train", and they accomplished that goal with Emmers. Landwehr has gone 3-1 over his last four fights.
