Out of Nzechukwu fight
HeavyweightUFC
September 12, 2024
De Lima has been dropped from his scheduled bout against Kennedy Nzechukwu at UFC 308 on October 26, with Justin Tafa taking his place in the fight, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
De Lima was dropped from the scheduled bout for unspecified reasons, and rather than drop the fight from the card altogether, Tafa was chosen as a replacement to face Nzechukwu. De Lima previously earned a victory over Junior Tafa via KO/TKO in February and will be forced to wait to see when his next opportunity in the Octagon will arrive.

HeavyweightUFC
August 2, 2024
Rogerio de Limo will face Kennedy Nzechukwu in a heavyweight showdown at UFC 308 on Oct. 26, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Rogerio de Lima is coming off a victory back in February in which he disposed of Junior Tafa in the first round. He'll look to once again stack consecutive victories in the UFC and put more distance between his most recent loss at the hands of Derrick Lewis. His opponent Nzechukwu has five inches of height on him, as well as eight inches more on his wingspan.
Dominates late-notice replacement
HeavyweightUFC
February 17, 2024
Rogerio de Lima defeated Junior Tafa via TKO (strikes) at 1:14 of Round 2 at UFC 298 on Saturday in Anaheim.
ANALYSIS
Rogerio de Lima came to Anaheim intending to fight a member of the Tafa family and got his wish. After Justin was forced to withdraw on Friday, Junior stepped in for his brother on one day's notice and was dominated. Rogerio de Lima simply stood in the pocket and fired off massive kicks to the lead leg of his opponent. The huge blows allowed him to get his wrestling game and whatever else he wanted going in the process. Referee Frank Trigg was finally forced to step in early in Round 2 after the final shot crumpled Tafa. If Justin's ailment isn't serious, perhaps the UFC will look to book he and Rogerio de Lima once again.
