Falls to 0-2 in UFC
WelterweightOther
September 14, 2019
Prepolec lost to Austin Hubbard via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC on ESPN+ 16 on Saturday in Vancouver.
ANALYSIS
Prepolec came out busy early, winning the battle of significant strikes in Round 1 by a count of 28 to 17. That was the peak of the fight for the Canada native, however, as Hubbard started to engage his wrestling game in Round 2, registering 2 takedowns. Prepolec spent the majority of Round 3 on his back, where Hubbard continued to score even if he wasn't doing much damage. Prepolec was given the benefit of the doubt after dropping his short-notice debut to Nordine Taleb in May, but he didn't necessarily inspire much confidence in his second trip to the Octagon, even with a full fight camp.

July 24, 2019
Prepolec will face off against Austin Hubbard during UFC Vancouver on Sept. 14, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Prepolec is 12-6 as a pro, winning the majority of his bouts via KO/TKO and losing the majority of his fights by decision. His most recent outing was his UFC debut, where he was defeated via decision by Nordine Taleb. Prepolec's opponent, Hubbard, also took a loss via decision during his UFC debut, which was his most recent fight. He is 10-3 as a pro, winning 80 percent of his fights by either KO/TKO or decision, while losing two of his three bouts by decision and the other by submission.
Drops late-notice UFC debut
WelterweightOther
May 4, 2019
Prepolec lost to Nordine Taleb via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night in Ottawa.
ANALYSIS
In for an injured Siyar Bahadurzada on a weeks' notice, Prepolec couldn't get a heck of a lot going in his UFC debut. He was most competitive in Round 1 before his cardio quickly vanished and Taleb took control of the bout. Perpolec spent his professional career prior to Saturday on the regional circuit and based upon his effort in this one, he might find himself back there sooner rather than later.
Set for UFC debut
WelterweightOther
April 28, 2019
Prepolec has been booked to take on Nordine Taleb in a welterweight bout at UFC Ottawa on May 4, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Prepolec joins the UFC after a quality stretch in the Ontario-based promotion BTC, and he will be serving as a last-minute replacement in the fight against Taleb, who was originally scheduled to face Siyar Bahadurzada. Prepolec will enter the fight in May having won four of his last five bouts, while Taleb is trying to put an end to the first losing streak of his career after dropping two fights in a row.
