Zalal up next
Errens is scheduled to compete against Youssef Zalal in a featherweight fight at UFC Vegas 95 on Aug. 10, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
This will be Errens' first opportunity to build a winning streak in the UFC. He began his 2024 with his first win in the promotion by defeating Steven Nguyen via unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 88.

Finally earns first UFC win
Errens defeated Steven Nguyen via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
A loser of back-to-back decisions to begin his UFC run, Errens almost certainly would have been sent packing if he wasn't able to emerge with a win here. Luckily for him, the debuting Nguyen was willing to engage him in the back-and-forth slugfest in which Errens excels. It resulted in Jarno closing with a a 106-63 edge in total strikes landed and a no-doubt decision win, in addition to both men receiving a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus. There's little reason to be excited about Errens moving forward, but this victory will ensure we see him in the Octagon at least one more time.

Another chance at first win
Errens will take on Steven Nguyen in a featherweight matchup at UFC Vegas 88 on March 23, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Errens will likely be fighting for his roster spot here, as a third consecutive defeat to begin his UFC run is typically the end of the line. He hasn't shown much through two fights, as his striking volume has been low and he hasn't had a successful takedown, getting taken down four times himself. He now draws an opponent in Nguyen who has won consecutive fights on Dana White's Contender Series and will be making his official debut with a 9-1-0 overall record.

Still searching for first UFC win
Errens lost to Seungwoo Choi via unanimous decision (27-30, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
Errens hung around, but ultimately didn't do enough over the course of 15 minutes to steal a decision. His lone significant offensive moment of the bout was a Round 2 knockdown. That was enough to win the frame in the eyes of two of the three judges, but there was zero chance he took either of the first or third rounds. A 28-year-old native of the Netherlands, Errens has now lost each of his first two UFC bouts via decision, and there's no guarantee he will get a third opportunity with the company.

Taking on Choi
Errens face Seungwoo Choi in a featherweight bout at a UFC event on Aug. 26 in Singapore, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Errens hasn't fought since 2022, and had to cancel his most recent scheduled fight in January against David Onama due to a shoulder injury. He'll look to bounce back for what will be his first fight in nearly a year. Choi, his opponent, has dropped three straight fights and is in desperate need of a victory to stay afloat in the UFC.
