October 17 fight set
Antigulov will take on Maxim Grishin at the UFC event on October 17, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Antigulov will be making his first start since losing to Paul Craig back in late July. He will be hoping to stop his losing streak at three, otherwise it seems unlikely for him to stay with the promotion for much longer.

Losing streak hits three
Antigulov lost to Paul Craig via submission (Triangle Choke) at 2:06 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
It's obviously easier said than done, but this was a poor job by Antigulov to get caught in this situation. Going up against an opponent who offers next to nothing in the striking game and is a pure submission specialist, Antigulov still found himself in position to be choked out early in the fight. It's a loss that may very well cost Antigulov his job. The Russian began his UFC run with back-to-back submission victories over Marcos Rogerio de Lima and Joachim Christensen but has since suffered three straight stoppage losses to Craig, Michal Oleksiejczuk and Ion Cutelaba.

Gets Craig on Fight Island
Antigulov will take on Paul Craig in a light heavyweight matchup July 25 on Fight Island.
ANALYSIS
Antigulov had been booked for a matchup against Klidson Abreu prior to the pandemic, but that turned out to be one of a laundry list of fights that was forced to be canceled or rescheduled. Instead, Antigulov will look to recover from back-to-back losses against a fighter in Craig that sports a 4-4-1 UFC record. Neither man has impressed from a striking volume standpoint, but Antigulov does have five takedowns in four fights, so that may be a strategy he pursues against Craig's sub-par, 57 percent takedown defense. Antigulov will also be giving up four inches in height and six inches in reach.

Will face Abreu on June 23
Antigulov will face Klidson Abreu at UFC Kazakhstan on June 23, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Antigulov hasn't fought since April 2019 while dealing with an undisclosed injury, but the Russian will return to the ring and face off against Abreu at UFC Kazakhstan on June 23. Abreu most recently lost a fight against Shamil Gamzatov via split decision back on Nov. 9, 2019.

Withdraws from upcoming fight
Antigulov withdrew from his upcoming match against Devin Clark due to an undisclosed injury, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not yet clear when Antigulov is expected to be ready to fight again. Clark will now take on Dequan Townsend in his place.
