Out of fight Saturday
Winn announced via Instagram that he has withdrawn from his fight on Saturday against Julian Marquez after suffering a concussion.
ANALYSIS
Winn said he fell down the stairs and hit his head and neck. All other tests came back negative, but he will have to overcome a mild concussion. It's unclear if the UFC will look to find a replacement for Marquez or just rebook this bout in early 2023.

Fighting Marquez on Dec. 17
Winn will fight Julian Marquez at the UFC event Dec. 17, Farah Hannoun of MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
This will be another middleweight matchup, as Winn has reportedly agreed to fight Marquez for his next contest. Winn will look to revenge his latest loss to Phil Hawes via TKO (elbows) back at UFC Fight Night in Texas on June 18. Marquez is also riding a loosing streak and will look to get back on track with a victory in December.

Dominated by Phil Hawes
Winn lost to Phil Hawes via TKO (elbows) at 4:25 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Austin, Texas.
ANALYSIS
This was tough to watch at times, and Winn still deserves full marks for lasting as long as he did. Hopelessly overwhelmed in a fight in which he was giving up five inches in height and seven inches in reach to his opponent, Winn could do nothing but stand there and be on the receiving end of whatever Hawes threw his way, which was typically short elbows to the face. Winn is a quality wrestler, but he's 5-foot-6 and is going to be giving up a ton of size to virtually every single opponent he faces at 185 pounds. In four UFC bouts, Winn has a 1-3 record, missed weight once, and failed a drug test. There is no guarantee the company will grant him a fifth opportunity.

Set to fight Hawes on June 18
Winn is scheduled to face Phil Hawes in a middleweight fight at the UFC's June 18 event in Austin, Mike Heck of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Winn, who withdrew from his last scheduled fight with Hawes due to a health issue, will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since December 2020. The 32-year-old boasts a 7-2 career MMA record.

Withdraws with health issues
Winn was forced to withdraw from Saturday's scheduled middleweight bout against Phil Hawes at UFC Fight Night due to health issues, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
The specifics of the situation remain unclear, though Winn's health issues apparently aren't related to weight-cutting. Chris Curtis will sub in on short notice to make his UFC debut versus Hawes.
