New fight scheduled
Roberts will face Jonny Parsons in a welterweight matchup at UFC Fight Night in London on July 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Roberts will look to get back in the win column after suffering back-to-back defeats, including a first-round knockout against Jack Della Maddalena in his previous bout. However, Roberts will have a significant five-inch reach advantage over Johnny Parsons.

Can't stop rising tide in KO loss
Roberts lost to Jack Della Maddalena KO/TKO (punches) at 3:24 of Round 1 at UFC Vegas 65 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Roberts looked like he had a game plan in this one, as he started out using his jab and footwork to try and corner his opponent against the fence. When the pressure and pace of Della Maddalena made that untenable, Roberts attempted to grapple, but the Australian was able to easily stay upright and find "Hot Chocolate" with massive uppercuts as he attempted to evade strikes. Roberts is a longtime veteran who can do everything well, but he's too hurtable to have sustained success against someone who hits as hard as Della Maddelena. It may only be a two-fight losing streak, but for someone who fights as infrequently as Roberts, that may be enough for the organization to cut ties. Roberts falls to 18-7-0 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

Hoping to get much needed win
Roberts will take on Jack Della Maddalena at the UFC event on Nov. 19, Paradigm Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Roberts had his record with the UFC fall to 7-4 after a unanimous decision loss to Francisco Trinaldo back in May. The 35-year-old really needs to get back in the win column in November against Della Maddalena, who has been dominant in his first two showings with the promotion.

Battered by Francisco Trinaldo
Roberts lost to Francisco Trinaldo via unanimous decision (28-29, 26-30, 27-30) at UFC 274 on Saturday in Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Roberts has fought just twice dating back to November 2019, and when you step into the Octagon so infrequently, you simply cannot come up short in pick 'em fights such as this one. Roberts' chin held up in the sense that he was able to see the final bell, but the good times ended there. Roberts was repeatedly battered over the course of the final ten minutes and was at real risk of being stopped on multiple occasions. Roberts is a good athlete. He has some power and decent size for the division, but he gets hit too much. Set to turn 35 years of age this coming July and having never won more than two fights in a row with the UFC, time is running out for "Hot Chocolate."

Fighting at UFC 274
Roberts will fave Francisco Trinaldo (hand) in a welterweight bout at UFC 274 on May 7, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Roberts returned from a lengthy layoff in mid-October and defeated Ramazan Emeev via split decision to improve his record with the promotion to 7-4. Trinaldo improved to 17-7 under the UFC banner when he defeated Dwight Grant via split decision in late October, but a left hand injury sustained in the fight resulted in a six-month medical suspension. Roberts has advantages in height and reach.
