Scrapping against Ruffy
Campbell is scheduled to compete against fellow lightweight Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 309 in New York City on Nov. 16, per Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
ANALYSIS
Campbell, a New York native, will be able to fight in his home state in the UFC's annual event at Madison Square Garden. Campbell is fighting off a decision win over Trevor Peek, and Ruffy began his UFC career by defeating Jamie Mullarkey in under a round back in May.

Remains perfect in UFC
Campbell defeated Trevor Peek via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
If you're fighting Peek, you better bring your work boots and show up ready to go. To Campbell's credit, he did. Charlie did just fine in the striking exchanges between the two men and managed to pull ahead for good behind four successful takedowns for 5:41 worth of control time. In some ways this was a more impressive performance from Campbell than his first-round knockout win over Alex Reyes in his UFC debut last September simply because he had to show and use more of his skill set to emerge victorious here.

Scheduled against Peek
Campbell is scheduled to compete against Trevor Peek in a lightweight fight at UFC Vegas 90 on April 6, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Campbell easily earned another UFC fight following his first-round TKO win over Alex Reyes on Sept. 16. But unlike Reyes, Peek has fought several times since 2017, thrice in 2023. While Peek won two of his three fights that year, he also lost once, which should be at least slightly more encouraging to Campbell's chances of logging his second consecutive win.

Dominant win in UFC debut
Campbell defeated Alex Reyes via TKO (punches) at 3:38 of Round 1 at Noche UFC on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Making his UFC debut against an opponent that hadn't fought in exactly six years, Campbell more than handled his business as a -550 favorite. A massive (6-foot) lightweight with legitimate power, Charlie battered Reyes consistently throughout the duration of the brief bout. One massive combination finally closed the show. A win over Reyes means nothing for Campbell, quite frankly, but you can only fight who they put in front of you. The New York native should be back in the Octagon in short order considering how little damage he absorbed here. In the meantime, he'll walk with an extra $50,000 after getting awarded one of five Performance of the Night bonuses handed out on the evening.

Will fight Reyes
Campbell will fight Alex Reyes at Noche UFC on Sept. 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nlreports.
ANALYSIS
This event has been a bit of a mess with so many late changes. Campbell just signed his first UFC contract and will be making his debut against an experienced Reyes who may be a little rusty since he hasn't fought since 2017.
