Will face Waters
Goff will take on Trey Waters in a welterweight showdown at a UFC event on May 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Goff, like his opponent Waters, is 1-0 in the UFC. Both are looking for undefeated starts to their UFC career, but Goff will have to contend with a fighter that has seven inches of height on him in the octagon. However, he's coming off a more impressive victory in his UFC debut, disposing of Yusaku Kinoshita via body punch to ground punches in the first round.

Knockout win in UFC debut
Goff defeated Yusaku Kinoshita via TKO (punches) at 3:49 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
It's a quality win for Goff in his official UFC debut. The 25-year-old Connecticut native had to fly halfway around the world and was able to earn the stoppage as a slight +125 underdog. Goff connected on a vicious body shot late in Round 1, which shut Kinoshita's insides down in an instant. He jumped on top of his fallen opponent and closed the show. Goff had been sidelined since his first-round knockout win on Dana White's Contender Series a little over a year ago, but now has a chance to build some momentum.

ANALYSIS
Goff was initially slated to debut against Themba Gorimbo in February, but that bout was cancelled. Now, he'll get his chance to debut against Yusaku Kinoshita, who is coming off a tough loss in his first UFC action.

Removed from card
Goff was removed from the card at UFC Vegas 69 for an undisclosed reason, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Goff earned a UFC contract in August and was slated to make his debut with the promotion Feb. 18, but he'll need to wait to make his first UFC appearance since AJ Fletcher will now face Themba Gorimbo. It's unclear when Goff will ultimately make his UFC debut.

ANALYSIS
Neither fighter has any UFC experience to this point. Goff has gone 8-2 as a professional, earning his contract with a first-round TKO victory over Shimon Smotritsky in the Contender Series in August. He's won six consecutive fights, requiring the judges' scorecards just once over that stretch. Gorimbo owns a 10-3 professional record, winning four of his last five matchups.
