Turkalj lost to Ibo Aslan via TKO (punches) at 1:32 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Atlantic City.
ANALYSIS
Turkalj got the better of Aslan when the two fought in Brave CF back in August 2020, but could not replicate that success here. The two men fought on very even terms until Anton got dropped with a massive right hand early in Round 3. A few follow-up shots later and referee Gary Copeland was stepping in. Turkalj has been a disaster since officially joining the UFC roster in September 2022, losing all four of his fights with the company, including three via stoppage. The odds of him getting a fifth fight are virtually zero. On the bright side, he'll take home an extra $50,000 after this matchup was awarded Fight of the Night honors.

Receives another chance

Turkalj agreed to fight Ibo Aslan in a light heavyweight bout at UFC Atlantic City on March 30, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
It'll be the fourth fight in the promotion for Turkalj, and it's a bit of a surprise he's receiving another opportunity given he's 0-3 and hasn't been particularly competitive. He'll be matched up with a newcomer in Aslan, who earned a UFC contract through Dana White's Contender Series in August.

Turkalj lost to Tyson Pedro via KO (punches) at 2:12 of Round 1 at UFC 293 on Saturday in Sydney, Australia.
ANALYSIS
In search of his first UFC victory and gifted a spot on the main card of a Pay-Per-View, Turkalj lasted a shade over two minutes. It was widely assumed the Swede would have a grappling edge in this fight, so of course he went out and engaged Pedro in a slugfest and was obliterated in the process. Turkalj earned his opportunity with the company with a unanimous decision win on Dana White's Contender Series in July 2022, but he's been positively dreadful since officially making his company debut 364 days go. The odds are against "The Pleasure Man" receiving a fourth UFC bout.

Turkalj will take on Tyson Pedro at UFC 293 on Sept. 9, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Turkalj, who was most recently defeated by Vitor Petrino in March, will look to bounce back in September. The 27-year-old Swedish fighter (0-2 UFC record) will look to take home his first UFC victory against Tyson Pedro.

Turkalj lost to Vitor Petrino via unanimous decision (26-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Tukalj got a pass for his first-round submission defeat to top prospect Jailton Almeida in his company debut last September, but this performance, in a pick 'em fight, was indefensible. It's difficult to land five takedowns in a 15-minute bout and get swept on the scorecards, but Turkalj managed to pull it off here. That's what happens when you allow your opponent to land seven takedowns on nine attempts. On the bright side, Turkalj made things interesting enough by checking in relatively evenly in the striking department and creating a few interesting scrambles. As a result, both combatants earned a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus for their efforts here, despite the lopsided scorecards.

Turkalj will take on Vitor Petrino at UFC Vegas 71 on March 11, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Turkalj will look for a much better performance in his second UFC fight after being submitted by Jailton Almeida back on Sept. 10. Petrino will be making his UFC debut and has not lost in his MMA career.
