$Signed one-year (two-way), $800,000 contract with the Blues in July 2015.

Harrold was reassigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Alex Steen suffered an arm injury during Saturday's win over Arizona, and an update isn't expected until Monday. The Blues will likely want to keep Steen off injured reserve unless he has a long-term injury, meaning that Harrold's demotion was likely made to create a roster spot should the Blues need to recall another forward in the absence of Steen.

Harrold played a modest 23 games scattered over the entirety of last season, notching four assists in that span. He could see an increased role in New Jersey’s defensive corps this season with the departure of Mark Fayne and Anton Volchenkov, but he will have to battle with rising talents Eric Gelinas, Adam Larsson and Jon Merrill for minutes. Harrold will not contribute much offensively while in the lineup.
Harrold signed a two-year deal with the Devils in July after seeing 22 games in the truncated 2013 season, notching five points in the process. Harrold is a good skater and puck-mover but can't seem to crack the lineup regularly. He'll likely be one of several players vying for the final two defensemen spots but won't see enough action to be a reliable source of scoring.
A veteran who saw himself in and out of the lineup, Harrold played in just 11 regular season games before grabbing four assists in 17 playoff games last spring. Harrold has good speed through the neutral zone, but has never been a point producer in his career. His role with the Devils is still uncertain and he could be looking at another season of being in and out of the lineup.
Harrold's a depth defensemen who will bounce between the bottom pairing and the press box on a nightly basis for the Kings. With just 22 points and 46 PIMs in 145 career NHL games, there's nothing here to get excited about on draft day.
Harrold parlayed an early season injury to Jack Johnson into some regular playing time at the NHL level and got into 69 games for thw Kings, registering 12 points. He'll likely be part of the Kings' regular rotation on the blueline but could be pushed out of the way if one of the kids has a big training camp.
Harrold figures to spend most of the season bouncing between LA and Manchester, the Kings' AHL affiliate. There isn't anything to get excited about here from a fantasy perspective.
Harrold has a shot at making the Kings roster to start the season. He had a dozen-game stint last season for the Kings after leading Manchester with goals for a defenseman with nine.
