AJ Scholz and Kyle Riley weigh in on how they believe the Maple Leafs should approach free agency this offseason.
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Bracco is a small, offensive dynamo. He's creative with great vision, attributes that helped him deliver a 79-point AHL season in 2018-19, which was good enough to finish second in the league. But for all that talent, there are a couple knocks on the kid and they're worth thinking about. Bracco's skating and own-zone play still need work, and he also plays right wing, which is probably the Leafs' deepest position. He has a chance to make one of the bottom lines out of training camp, but the Leafs may decide that they'd rather have him spend another season in the AHL where he can work on plugging the holes in his game. Your keeper investment should be made after considering how soon -- or if ever -- he gets to the top six. Bracco must play on a scoring line to fulfill his tremendous promise.
