After four seasons with AHL Charlotte, the 26-year-old Terry enjoyed his first full season of active NHL duty last year, and although he was frequently a healthy scratch, he managed to put up a very respectable 20 points (11 goals, nine assists) in 57 games. Terry’s ice time was limited to an average of 12:43 jostling between multiple lines, but it did include 1:11 of power-play time, where he managed to post three goals and a helper. This season, Terry is likely to contend for a role as a wing on the second or third line, and should continue to be a good source of secondary scoring for the Canes. As such, he makes for a viable late-round fantasy pick in deeper formats.
