Jan Levine ranks the skaters and goalies in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for fantasy playoff leagues. Can you guess where Brad Marchand ranks?
2018 Fantasy Outlook
A fifth-round selection of the Capitals in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Gersich has spent much of the interim at the University of North Dakota, posting 13 goals and 29 points in 40 games in 2017-18. Signed to a two-year contract in March of 2018, the prospect appeared in five games with the Capitals between the regular season and playoffs, and although his speed and complete game were well-displayed, he has yet to record his first NHL point. Gersich will compete for a spot on the Capitals roster this September, but it wouldn't be shocking to see him open the season with AHL Hershey as he continues to adjust to the pro game. The 22-year-old could emerge as a valuable role player for the Capitals, but his fantasy value is limited to dynasty formats for the time being.
