Taylor Leier

The 24-year-old and the Flyers avoided arbitration when the two sides agreed to a one-year deal on July 15. Although he appeared in games during each of the previous two seasons, Leier was still a rookie in 2017-18 and recorded a goal and five points with a minus-7 rating in 39 games. With just a 2.1 shooting percentage, it appears as though he fell victim to some bad luck, but even still, it's going to be difficult for Leier to crack the Flyers lineup. The organization has a plethora of young developing forwards, so it's probably going to take an injury to give Leier an opportunity to play again in the NHL.
