Garbutt is emerging from a breakout season. He'll be 29 when the season starts and has only played in three NHL seasons, but he went from having five goals in his career to netting 17 goals and 15 assists with 106 penalty minutes last season. Those are great numbers for a depth fantasy player. It was just one season though -- breakout or not -- so be wary of where you're taking him in the draft. He's not a proven commodity and with Dallas' acquisition of Jason Spezza and Ales Hemsky, he's limited with how far he's going to climb up the depth chart. Garbutt figures to roll as a third-line winger right on a strong line that likely features Cody Eakin and one of Erik Cole or Antoine Roussel. Garbutt still needs to prove that he's more than a one-season wonder, but he could be a bit of a sleeper pick if things go right.
