Reunited with the coaches of the Predators organization that drafted him, Latta will took to build on last year’s solid campaign with Hershey in the AHL. The gritty center has all the tools to be a regular on the fourth-line in Washington this year, and could emerge as the anchor on the team’s bottom-six for years to come. Still, his limited offensive upside (one goal, three assists in 17 games last season) makes him a reach except in leagues that reward hits and penalty minutes. Latta will be a valuable role-player for the Caps, but has yet to blossom into a reliable fantasy performer.
