Cuma, Minnesota's first-round pick (23rd overall) in 2008, hasn't been able to get his career on track due to frequent injuries, so his prospect star has dimmed. Last season, he had 12 points in 42 games for Houston of the AHL as he missed significant time with a broken foot. He's still seen as a two-way defender, so he has some fantasy upside if he can stay healthy and find a regular role in the NHL.

At 6-foot, 175 lbs, his stature won't intimidate anyone in the NHL, but is likely to use his skating prowess and dexterity for an unparalleled advantage. A keen defenseman who can shoot the rock, Cuma should definitely be able to latch onto the big stage sooner than later.
