Andrew Bodnarchuk

With just one goal and 16 points for AHL Providence this past season in 75 games, there's not a ton of buzz surrounding Bodnarchuk's fantasy prospects at the NHL level. He does project as a puck-moving blueliner, but there's a bit of a logjam in terms of blueline prospects in the B's organization and Bodnarchuk will need to have a strong camp to distinguish himself enough to stick with the big club.

Bodnarchuk, who appeared in five games with Boston this past season, will reprise his role a depth blueliner/potentail injury call-up for the Bruins in 2010-11.

Bodnarchuk's size (5-11, 193) is a concern for some, but he's a puck-mover, whose upside down the road is that of a solid top-four defenseman, who could help on the power-play.

Lack of size is the knock against Bodnarchuk, but he has upside as a puck-moving blueliner if he can adjust well to the physicality of the pros. Look for him to get his firs pro action with AHL Providence out of the gate.
