Ritchie is another one of the good role players that fits so well with Calgary's philosophy. Although he had a sprained MCL that kept him out two months last season, he appears healthy once again. Don't expect much scoring from him, however, as his career high in points is 11.
Ritchie fits coach Darryl Sutter's system perfectly, plus the Flames needed more winger depth. He has been able to score in the minors, however has not been able to adjust and score at the next level. Ritchie will watch more games from the press box than he will play; do not select him unless he replaces someone with an injury, minimal fantasy value.
