Bure retired on Tuesday and has been chosen to be the general manager of Russia's Olympic hockey team, the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Bure has had three knee reconstructions and wasn't expected to return. His role with the Russian Olympic team does not include any coaching roles. Bure scored 437 goals and 342 assists in just 702 games and was a dominant scorer when healthy over the past decade and a half.
