Matt Tomkins News: Returned to AHL

Tomkins was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Saturday, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports.

Tomkins was recalled Friday to serve as the backup to Jonas Johansson, as Andrei Vasilevskiy was given the day off. Tomkins is 3-5-0 with a 3.12 GAA and an .890 save percentage across eight AHL games.
