There are only three games on the NHL slate Sunday, with the first one set to go off at 1:00 pm (ET).
Here are some recommended targets for your lineup…
GOALIE
Pekka Rinne, NSH at CAR ($37): Rinner comes into tonight's action with an impressive 13-3-2 record, 2.31 GAA, and .927 save percentage. Rinne has been even better in his last two outings and should have little trouble against the mostly toothless attack of the Hurricanes, who rank just 25th in scoring.
GOALIE TO AVOID
Cam Talbot, EDM at BOS ($33): Talbot has been inconsistent this season with the following stat line (8-10-1, 3.13, .901), and I don't like this road matchup against the Bruins at all. To make matters even worse, the Oilers are ranked just 26th in scoring. A bad offensive team with an inconsistent goalie on the road is always a poor bet.

CENTER
Ryan Johansen, NSH at CAR ($19): Johansen is having a typically strong all-around season and is on pace for 60 points. Even better, Johansen has been on fire lately with five points in his last three games and forms a dangerous stack with linemates Viktor Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg.
CENTER TO AVOID
Henrik Sedin, VAN at NYR ($11): Sedin has been limited to just over 14 minutes per game, and that is reflected in his career-low production rate of just two goals in 23 games.
WINGS
Viktor Arvidsson, NSH at CAR ($24) and Filip Forsberg, NSH at CAR ($26): Arvidsson (15 points in last 22 games) and Forsberg (24 points in last 22 games) have been playing particularly well together as of late. They've produced five goals in the last ten games as a unit and should have little trouble against Carolina.

WINGS TO AVOID
Brad Marchand, BOS vs. EDM ($26) and Rick Nash, NYR vs. VAN ($18): Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy says Marchand won't play Sunday vs. the Oilers. Marchand has now missed six straight games due to an undisclosed injury. Nash has just 12 points on the season but has been slumping as of late with only one point in his last four games. As such, he's overpriced at $18.
DEFENSE
Torey Krug, EDM at BOS ($17) and Charlie McAvoy, EDM at BOS ($16): Krug and McAvoy anchor Boston's first two lines of defense and both have each shown solid offense upside on a regular basis. Krug has 11 points in 17 games, while McAvoy has also been hot with three points in his last four. Together they are on a pace which would net Boston's dynamic duo 94 points from the blue line.
DEFENSEMEN TO AVOID
Oscar Klefbom, EDM at BOS ($19) and Darnell Nurse, EDM at BOS ($16): Klefbom has been a major disappointment with just six points in 22 games. As Edmonton's other key puck-moving defenseman, Nurse has been only slightly better stat wise with seven points in 23 games.
