Around the League
- Another huge game in the Eastern Conference tonight that involves the Rangers. In essence, the Bruins represent the Sabres and Hurricanes tonight. Both teams will surely be pulling for a Rangers loss.
- As always, keep up-to-date with the confirmed starters for tonight with our goalie grid, it could be the difference between winning your league and not winning (trust me, I know first hand!).
Boston (Tim Thomas) vs. NY Rangers (Henrik Lundqvist), 7:30 p.m
Boston injuries:
Shawn Thornton (RW) - Doubtful after getting more than 40 stitches around his eye last week. He missed Saturday's game, and is likely to sit out Monday as well.
NY Rangers injuries:
NO SIGNIFICANT INJURY NEWS

Who's Hot
Corey Perry (RW) Anaheim - Perry had a huge week last week, netting three times while also getting four assists.
Antti Niemi (G) San Jose - Niemi has won seven of his last eight starts for the Sharks, with only a shootout loss accounting for the non-victory. He hasn't allowed more than three goals in any of those games. It's a weird dynamic with the Sharks though; at this point, they have been great and consistent all season, but there is that feeling that come playoff time they'll be a disappointment once again.
Who's Cold
Rich Peverley (C) Boston - Peverley has not resembled the same player in Boston that he was in Atlanta. Coming off of a terrific season last year, Peverley continued to play well for the Thrashers this year before they dealt him to the B's. Since joining the Bruins, he has just two goals and two assists in 19 games, and is 0-for the last eight contests.
Jack Johnson (D) Los Angeles - It's very strange to see Johnson as cold as he is right now. His name hasn't popped up in the scoresheet in the last 10 games, and he's a minus-3 during that stretch as well.
Recommended Pickup
Mike Smith (G) Tampa Bay - For owners in daily leagues who need to get to their maximum amount of goalie starts, you might want to consider picking up Smith on nights when he is starting. Dwayne Roloson has been far from good for the Bolts, and Smith has been red hot in his last two starts. He has two wins, including one shutout over those last two contests.
