Top 5 Right Wing

ISS # 4 -- Tarasenko, Vladimir
Tarasenko is an explosive offensive talent who can really be compared to a poor-man's Ovechkin.
The son of Andrei Tarasenko, former RSL scoring champion, Vladimir was first runner up for the KHL's 2009 rookie of the year award. Having just turned 18 on Dec. 13, he's the sixth-youngest player in the KHL. Tarasenko competes hard and loves to score and can do it extremely well both off the rush and with his lightning quick release. Tarasenko has the ability to bring the fans out of their seats and leave their jaws on the floors in front of them. However, he's the one premium talent who might be available later in the first round because of his contract in the KHL.
Style compares to: Ziggey Palffy

ISS # 12 -- Watson, Austin
Watson is an effective two-way forward that projects the potential to produce offensively at the next level
He is the type of player who is always around the play and the puck, making things happen in both ends of the rink. He displays a high level of skill, handling and carrying the puck with a ton of composure.
Excellent hockey sense- and complete level. Will adapt and play any role given by coach. He is arguably one of the smartest players available in the draft. Watson is a great team leader that can score or check the top lines in the league.
Style compares to:Jordan Staal

ISS # 28 -- Coyle, Charlie
Coyle is as close to a sure thing as you can get. He will play many years in the NHL and can be a 2nd line guy or a 4th line guy. A physical presence and two-way player, Coyle was second on his team and fifth in the EJHL in scoring with 63 points. He has skated for Team USA Under-18 Select team in Slovakia during the summer and the Four Nations Cup in Finland in November and will attend Boston University in the fall. Coyle is an explosive and gifted skater with a smooth and fluid stride who has garnered more attention and developed into a more all-around player since the start of the season. He will follow in his cousin, Tony Amonte's, footsteps, and attend Boston University in the fall.
Style compares to:Patrick Marleau

ISS # 34 – Bennett, Beau
Slick highly skilled forward from California, Bennett had an outstanding season, tying for the BCHL Scoring title with 41 goals and 120 pts in 56 games.  Outstanding hockey sense. Sees the ice extremely well. Quarterbacks a very good PP. Plays up high in the middle on the umbrella on the power play and always seems to make the right play whether it's a great pass or gets his shot through.
Given time he should be a top 6 forward with the ability to put up very good offensive numbers.
Style compares to:Jason Pominville

ISS # 38 – Toffoli, Tyler
When in possession of the puck Toffoli displays a ton of composure and confidence, especially in the offensive zone. The fact he kept elevating his game throughout the year has secured his ranking here at ISS for the upcoming NHL draft. Toffoli is a sniper that regularly plays both center and the wing. He is very dangerous from the blue line in. He is smart around the net, finds the open ice and can score several ways. Known for his big shot and scoring touch, as well as compete level but his skating is a question mark.
Style compares to: Scott Pearson

Top 2 Sleepers

ISS # 85 – Thomas, Christian
A slick and speedy little forward who can be difficult to obtain possession from when he gets his stick moving, Thomas is a passionate player who can create offense in a heartbeat if you misread his intentions. Like his Dad, Steve he can score goals. Thomas' precipitous rise in draft stock was supported by his OHL and World Under 18 accolades. Thomas led the way in the 2009-10 OHL Eastern Conference coaches' polls. Represented in five categories Thomas was voted the most improved player, second most dangerous player in the goal area, the second best shot and the second hardest shot. He also finished as the conferences third best stickhandler.
Style compares to:Paul Kariya

ISS # 120 – Hyman, Zachary
Goal scorers are hot commodity any year, this one is no exception. Hyman finished sixth one spot ahead of No. 1 ranked Taylor Hall for goals per game at 0.714. Hyman is a forward that has played both down the middle and on the wall this season. While he has been effective playing both positions, he seems to be more suited and projects to be a winger at the next level. He has an impressive collection of physical tools: legitimate size, skates well considering his physical stature and he displays above average puck handling ability. Zach has some real flashes and moments where you can see his potential to develop into a real effective power forward. Needs to improve his skating by 15% to be effective at next level and will have time to develop at Princeton University.
Style compares to:Dave Andreychuk

Top Wildcard

ISS # 45 -- Pulkkinen, Teemu
This kid just produces and makes things happen. A gifted goal scorer with a great shot and power that is usually reserved for much bigger players, Pulkkinen is the type of prospect that Finland hasn't produced in years. A Finn with finish, he has been able to dominate every level he has played at, including this year's U18 World Championship where he led the tournament in scoring and was named the top forward. Scoring winger who matched up with the right player could put up tremendous goal totals.
Style compares to: Niclas Bergfors

"Pro Hockey Weekly" Fantasy draft prospect of the week.

Nathan MacKinnon – Shattuck-St. Mary's Bantam Tier I – 1995 Birthdate
MacKinnon is a highly skilled, crafty offensive minded forward who possesses a real scorer's touch. He is at his best and most effective when he has possession of the puck. Jenkins has excellent hands, and when he plays with the puck he does so at a very high pace and speed. He displays speed, quickness and the ability to change directions and gears in an instant. Jenkins also has that ability to find that extra high gear to create separation for checkers and create his own time and space. When he has the puck and on the offensive attack he can flat out fly. A very talented player. This is a player to watch.
