Picks up maiden DP World Tour win

Canter won the European Open by two strokes after shooting a one-under 72 in the final round.

ANALYSIS
Canter started the season as a LIV Golf Wildcard playing in the first two events on that tour. He is still currently listed as a reserve on LIV, but has since been focusing on the DP World Tour. After a T7 finish at the Soudal Open last week, Canter was coming into Hamburg with good momentum. It certainly showed as he opened with 68-66. The conditions were tougher over the weekend and Canter held the most steady among the leaders to notch his first DP World Tour victory at age 34. Canter now moves all the way up to eighth in the Race to Dubai standings and into 114th in the OWGR. It's unclear where the Englishman will play next.
