Saunders was waived by the Colts on Tuesday, Mike Chappell of RTV 6 in Indianapolis reports.
ANALYSIS
Saunders was signed two weeks ago as insurance with Dwayne Allen sidelined with an ankle injury. Allen is expected back this week after missing three games, so Saunders has become expendable. Indianapolis signed tackle Andrew McDonald to take Saunders' roster spot.

Saunders must serve a four game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances. When he returns, he will find himself behind Health Miller, Leonard Pope and David Paulson on the Steelers' depth chart.
The Steelers like what they saw from the from undrafted rookie, but he will likely serve as a blocking specialist and has no fantasy value.
