Despite landing the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Bears didn't use it, instead turning it into WR DJ Moore and other assets. QB Justin Fields now is positioned to take the next step in his development.
James Cook got more snaps and carries than Devin Singletary even with the Bills playing their starters for the entire game Sunday.
Cam Akers took on the third-largest snap share of all running backs Week 17, playing more than three-fourths of the Ram' snaps for a third straight week.
The unfortunate end of Jonathan Taylor's season may have a silver lining in the form of Zack Moss getting a big opportunity.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Ebner was drafted in the sixth round in 2022, but he rushed for just 2.3 yards per carry on 24 attempts. When David Montgomery missed time in Weeks 3 and 4, Ebner did little with his opportunity by rushing 13 times for 43 yards and catching two passes for eight yards. In the offseason, the Bears signed Travis Homer to a two-year deal. Homer was a receiving back and special teams contributor in his four years with the Seahawks. With the fourth running back likely requiring the player to contribute on special teams, Ebner may have a difficult time holding off Homer for a roster spot.
