Terron Ward

Ward didn't get a lot of work in 2016, and when he did, it often came in garbage time, which is no surprise considering just how dominant Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman were when they touched the ball. Ward won't supplant either of those backs on the depth chart unless an injury strikes, and his biggest challenge will be holding off fifth-round pick Brian Hill for the third-string running back job. Ward's familiarity with the offensive system may give him the inside track at the beginning of camp, but he'll still need an impressive preseason to earn a role on the active roster.
