ANALYSIS
The 2019 fourth-round pick is perhaps best known to NFL fans as the younger brother of Falcons wideout Calvin Ridley. It's even possible the two could be reunited in the coming days, given Atlanta's poor depth at the position. Then again, Ridley couldn't win a spot on a Chicago team that has the same problem, seemingly losing out to Marquise Goodwin, Damiere Byrd and perhaps Dazz Newsome.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2019
After the Bears selected Ridley in the fourth round of the 2019 draft, he was unable to secure regular work in a very weak wide receiver corps, and he's been active in just 10 of 32 games while catching 10 passes for 108 yards on 11 targets. The team released him at the end of August.
After being selected in the fourth round of last year's draft, Ridley didn't see the field until Week 13, and in four games, he posted six catches for 69 yards. However, with the Bears lacking playmakers at WR aside from Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller, Riley certainly could emerge as a factor in the passing game, should he impress the coaching staff during camp. Although he showed production in college, he has 40th percentile speed, 22nd percentile agility and 42nd percentile explosiveness, so he'll need to play much better than his measurables to make an impact at the NFL level as well as for fantasy managers. He'll be a player to watch during the preseason, as his role will ultimately determine his early-season fantasy value.
A fourth-round pick of the Bears this year, Ridley enters the league with plenty of tread on his tires, having caught 58 of 89 passes for 788 yards and 11 touchdowns in his last two seasons at Georgia. His output was the product of polished route running and a decent catch radius, which should give him freedom to work as both a slot and outside receiver as a pro. However, Ridley is joining an offense with a strong collection of pass-catching options, namely Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller, Taylor Gabriel and Trey Burton. As such, Ridley may not be able to break into the regular rotation for some time.
