29-Year-Old Defensive TackleDT
Los Angeles Chargers
2024 Fantasy Outlook
A three-year starter for Seattle early in his career, Ford joined the Bills last season and ultimately saw limited usage despite a front four that seemingly was gashed by opposing rushing attacks. Ford will have an opportunity to show that his Buffalo stint was just a blip on the radar as the 28-year-old is expected to be rotated heavily along the front three of the defensive line. The Chargers signed Ford to a one-year contract Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
After spending his first five seasons with the Seahawks, Ford settled for a one-year deal from the Bills last offseason and registered just nine tackles (five solo) across eight games and 151 defensive snaps for Buffalo. Ford will look to get his career back on track on another one-year pact, this time in Los Angeles for new coach Jim Harbaugh.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2020
Ford was a workhorse on the Seahawks' defensive front last season, as he averaged 45.1 snaps per game and posted a career-high 53 tackles in addition to two sacks and a pass breakup. He'll earn $8.325 million in 2022 and likely will handle a similar role to last year. With fellow DT Quinton Jefferson also in the fold, the Seahawks' interior defensive line completes a solid front seven in Seattle.
Ford started 14 of 15 games he played in 2019 after his rookie season ended on a high note, and the Texas product compiled 32 tackles, 0.5 sacks and a fumble recovery. He doesn't light up the stat sheet, but his snap count is secure after the Seahawks did little to replace Quinton Jefferson, who departed for Buffalo in March.
