Green Bay cut McCrary (undisclosed) from the practice squad injured list with an injury settlement Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
McCrary had been placed on the practice squad injured list Aug. 30, which would have made him ineligible from being on the active NFL roster for at least four games. Now that he's agreed to an injury settlement, the 25-year-old can sign with another organization and can suit up whenever he is healthy. However, McCrary will likely need to settle for another practice squad spot given that he has played in only one career NFL game, which took place in 2021.

2021 Fantasy Outlook
McCrary, an undrafted rookie out of Saginaw Valley State, made a push for the Week 1 roster after signing with Baltimore this spring. He didn't quite make it, but the Broncos claimed him off waivers and got rid of Royce Freeman shortly thereafter. With Mike Boone out injured early in the season, McCrary should be Denver's No. 3 back behind Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams. That could equate to a healthy scratch on gamedays, but it might also mean a few touches here and there if he's lucky.
